PLACTIC EXTRUDER (GRANULE)
Extrusion is the end process of many plastic recycling lines. Extruders mostly receive smooth material. If the recycling line doesn’t perform well in cleaning or drying steps also the extruder wont perform well. This problem mostly occurs in other steps of recycling line.
An extruder machine should have these characteristics in all cases.
A good venting device with a powerful vacuum pump to increase the degassing effect; if venting are two even better.
An oversized and strong screenchanger because sometimes, if material has not been washed well, and this will happen, you need to get production anyway and a big screenchanger helps a lot.
There are lots of theories about the ratio between the length and
diameter of the screw. It depens on the material to be recycled.
Feeding the extruder is another case. According to the material
different feeding units should be designed.(PS foam, PE film, HDPE
flakes etc.)
Mostly there are two types of extruders. Single screw and Double screw
extruders.
Single screw extruders are the most common ones.
So what is the difference between those two types?
Single screw extruder is just a pump but a double screw extruder is a mixer. Out of a pump you can’t pretend to have a good mixing. But single screw extruders are easy operated,hardly disordered and cheaper then the others. Productivity is high and maintenance is low in single screw extruders.
We suggest to use single screw extruders in recycling process.
Technical Features
According to desired capacity and raw material to be used, cascade
type, degasser single screw gaseous regenerated extruder barrel, which
can be fed from top or side, with a screw are designed based on the
demend in compliance with solid waste and agglomeration production.
Our extruder machines are capable of recycling industrial waste, city
waste, household waste and plastic production in granular system and
original raw material production ABS-LDPE-HDPE- PE – PP- PS- PC- SAN
and in mixed products in the capacity range of 100 kg/h to 1200 kg/h.
Screw diameter changes from 100 mm to 175 mm.
The chasis of the extruder machine is made of 8-10 mm ST37 quality sheets.
The hazardous gases and chemical within the used material are removed by absorbing with the vacuum system and the gas that forms after this process is cleaned of all hazardous elements in compliance with the European standarts and considering the human health.
Depending on the material to be used extruder machine operates at a rate of 100 kg to 1200 kg per hour capacity.
The lifetime of the screw and the barrel is extended by processes of the screw and barrel production to maket hem 58-63 HRC by heat treatment.
DIN 1.4140 material is used for production of the side feeding screw and side feeding barrel and it is made to have 58-65 HRC temper by heat treatment and induction process.
By using speed-controlled side feeding engine, when the materials to be processed by the Extruder machine comes with different tempers and densities AC speed controlled side feeding engine is used in order to process these materials that have different features the same level, pressure and capacity. In addition, thanks to the mentioned system, the jamming of the material and overloading the machine is prevented in the case that the worker didn’t clean the filter in the proposed period.
The ceramic resistors and isolation system powered special protection sheets used fort he Extruder Machine, provide 20% electrical savings and additionally the initial operation time of the machine is reduced to minimum.
Different regions are allowed to be adjusted for different heat levels by the fans on the Extruder Machine.
There are 6 regions on the screw +2 regions filter heat control group, 4 pieces cartridge resistors, 3 pieces plate resistors.
All power transfers are realized with SPC and B type V belts within the safety shelter.
Control panels, electrical power units and cables comply with all safety specifications and CE standards. Digital heat indicators, PLC control panels and filter pressure warning alarm available.
Heat tempered, double reduction, helix gear, heavy duty reductors are used.
